Hungry Ferret Causes Commuter Chaos

A hungry ferret has caused chaos on a commuter train in central England, leaping from passenger to passenger before ducking into the driver’s cab and devouring his cheese sandwich.
The wild creature jumped on the northbound train as it picked up passengers at Leicester station, in the Midlands. It ran up and down the carrages, causing mild panic.
The driver radioed ahead for animal welfare officers to meet the train, capture the ferret and remove it so that the journey could continue.
