Artist Donates Picture To Elephants Who Provide Dung For His Art

Award winning artist, Chris Ofili, has donated a painting to the Zoological Society of London to help the elephants at the London Zoo who have provided dung for his acclaimed and sometimes controversial paintings.
The proceeds of the work entitled Triple Couple have gone towards the elephants residing at Whipsnade Animal Park.
Ofili said: "Dung is an essential component of my work and it would be impossible to create my paintings without the elephants."
